Michael Hinkley has had a successful career in the waste industry with Waste Connections, Mountain Waste and Waste Management. Mike started his transportation career with Coors Brewing as an Operations Manager for eight years in the Rocky Mountain Region of Colorado, he then moved into an Operations Management role with Waste Management in the Western Slope of Colorado. Leading the largest mountain sites, Mike created and influenced the region’s five sites to operational and safety excellence.
Most recently before FleetGenius, Mike spent years with Mountain Waste/Waste Connections as the District Manager. Mike was a very integral part of Mountain Waste’s Operational and Safety success which led to their acquisition in April of 2019 by Waste Connections. Mike is responsible for all FleetGenius safety strategies, implementation plans, and ensuring we focus on continuous improvement of FleetGenius’ safety culture!
