Compactor Refurbishment

• Upon receipt, each unit is staged and given an initial inspection and evaluation to establish the full scope of work and pricing prior to beginning the refurbishment process.
• Unit is prepped and pressure washed.
• Overall Inspection of condition and structural integrity

Inspection Items:

• Understructure frame, cross members, hooks, and main rails
• Steel surfaces and welds
• Packer floors and walls
• Ram floor and sides
• Ram Guides, shoes,
• Container floor and side walls
• Access panels, covers, wiper blades
• Door latches, hinges, and seals
• Ground wheels, nose rollers, bull noses, brackets, axels, ratchets,etc.

• Minor patch repairs as needed
• Power Unit – Inspection of unit including diagnostics on operating system and load test – make minor component replacements and repairs – change hydraulic oil & filters – ensure unit is in good, overall running condition
• Inspect cylinders for leaks and functionality
• Inspect ram guides and ram tracking
• Inspect hydraulic hoses / fittings and replace if necessary
• Inspect / grease wear items such as ground wheel, nose rollers, door seals, etc. and replace as necessary
• QC, test, and water test to ensure compactor is in good running condition
• Repaint, apply ANSI Safety Decals, and stage for deployment

Warranty for Service Level 1 = 30 Days

• Inspect overall unit and structural integrity – includes patch & major repairs
• Inspect power unit – run diagnostics on operating system and load test – make minor component replacements and repairs – change hydraulic oil & filters – ensure unit is in good, overall running condition
• Inspect & replace with “rebuilt” cylinders (if necessary)
• Install new cylinder mounts & pins
• Install new cylinder hoses & fittings
• Inspect ram guides and ram tracking
• Inspect hydraulic hoses / fittings and replace if necessary
• Inspect / grease wear items such as ground wheel, nose rollers, door seals, etc. and replace ifnecessary
• QC, test, and water test to ensure compactor is in good running condition
• Prep Surfaces and Repaint, apply ANSI Safety Decals, and stage for deployment

Warranty for Service Level 2 = 120 Days

• Inspect overall unit and structural integrity – includes patch & major repairs
• All Level 3 Refurbishments include an all new standard Pinnacle Power Unit
• Install / replace with “new” cylinders
• Install new cylinder mounts & pins
• Install new cylinder hoses & fittings
• Inspect ram guides and ram tracking
• Replace all hydraulic hoses / fittings
• Replace / grease all wear items such as ground wheels, nose rollers, door seals, etc.
• QC, test, and water test to ensure compactor is in good running condition
• Prep Surfaces and Repaint, apply ANSI Safety Decals, and stage for deployment

Warranty for Service Level 3 = 1 Year (12 months)

*Service Levels 1 and 2 include power unit testing, light refurbishment, and part replacements– if power unit is deemed cost prohibitive to refurbish, a new power unit will be recommended and priced separately
